DESCRIPTION:Applications are now open for TEDxYouth@ChavisWay\, an independently organized TED event happening on May 2\, 2026. Open for youth between the ages of 10 and 19 who may be interested in speaking or performing at the event. TEDxYouth@ChavisWay is curated by a team of volunteers in partnership with NC State Extension program #PassTheMicYouth\, Wake County 4-H\, Alliance Health\, and John Chavis Community Center. The goal is to bring together bright young minds to give talks that are idea-focused to foster learning\, inspiration and wonder–and provoke conversations that matter. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis year’s theme\, Rooted & Reaching\, celebrates the power of young people whose stories grow from strong foundations and stretch toward a better future. It’s about taking what grounds us and using it to reach for impact—to spark ideas\, build bridges\, and imagine new ways forward. Talks can be up to 8 minutes\, on any topic related to the theme Rooted & Reaching\, a celebration of young people who draw on their roots to imagine\, create\, and reach for a brighter future (note: the theme is open to each individual’s interpretation). Performances can be up to 5 minutes and can include original music\, spoken word poetry\, dance\, and other forms of artistic expression. Talks will be filmed and edited and videos will be hosted on the TEDx YouTube channel. All speakers will be assigned a coach to guide them through the process of crafting a talk\, from script to stage.  \n\n\n\n\n\nApplications are due by January 5th. DESCRIPTION:This conference will engage providers from behavioral health service organizations and agencies in the opportunity to participate in training aimed at improving their collective understanding of organizational resilience and well-being.
