SUMMARY:Training: Navigating the Complexities of Providing Reflective Supervision or Consultation
DESCRIPTION:Join the North Carolina Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Association (NCIMHA) for this interactive training on reflective supervision or consultation on May 29 from 12-2pm via Zoom. \nReflective supervision/consultation (RSC) asks supervisors and consultants to navigate a delicate balance: supporting reflective growth while also addressing performance concerns\, accountability\, and identity. How do we offer honest feedback in ways that deepen self-awareness rather than create shame or defensiveness? What happens when our administrative role intersects with the reflective space? And how do we remain curious and connected while holding difficult conversations? \nThis interactive virtual training invites RSC providers to explore these common dilemmas alongside experienced reflective facilitators and colleagues from across the field. Through authentic case vignettes\, small-group discussion\, and collective reflection\, participants will examine the complexities of balancing relationship\, feedback\, and accountability within reflective practice. \nThe cost is $50 for members of any Association of Infant Mental Health and $65 for general registration. Register here: North Carolina Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Association – Advanced Practice Reflective Supervision Training | Navigating the Complexities of Providing Reflective Supervision or Consultation: A Vignette-Based Training for Current RSC Providers
