North Carolina Asian Americans Together Youth Leadership Institute

Join North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT) for the biggest youth event of the year. Over three days, participants will be diving deep into identity, history, and the skills needed to make a real impact in your community.

The Youth Leadership Institute will empower participants to explore their own identities, learn about Asian American history and advocacy, and strengthen their leadership and civic engagement skills. Throughout the conference, students will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops, panels, and discussions about Asian American identity, history, and topics not often covered in traditional K-12 curriculum. Students will cultivate their leadership and political advocacy knowledge/skills while building community.

Dates: July 13–15, 2026

Day 1-2: Sonja Haynes Stone Center (UNC-Chapel Hill)

Day 3: NCAAT Office (Junior League of Raleigh)

Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Check-in at 8:30 AM)
