Trauma-Informed Care Healthcare Provider Conference

Please join the Durham County Department of Public Health, Durham Tech, Wake AHEC, and Duke AHEC at the Trauma-Informed Care Healthcare Provider Conference on April 15.

Trauma-informed care improves patient outcomes, reduces costs, and improves patient satisfaction. Despite these benefits, many healthcare providers have not received or have received limited training or continued education in trauma-informed care. This conference aims to increase provider knowledge and skills to provide trauma-informed care in Durham County. 6.25 CEs are available for attendees.

Target audience: Physicians, advance practice providers, nurses, psychologists, case managers, behavioral health professionals, social workers, community health workers, health specialists, and other healthcare professionals that practice in Durham County, North Carolina.
