CenterFest Arts Festival

CenterFest Arts Festival returns to downtown Durham on September 20–21 to celebrate its 50th anniversary as the city’s signature fine arts festival. Since 1974, the Durham Arts Council has brought the community together to enjoy juried visual artists from across the country, showcasing world-class ceramics, paintings, photography, jewelry, fiber art, woodwork, glass, and more. The festival also features continuous live entertainment with musicians, dancers, and street performers, alongside a lively Creative Kids Zone designed for children and families. With local food vendors, community organizations, and the vibrant backdrop of Durham’s historic downtown, CenterFest offers a dynamic and family-friendly celebration of art, culture, and community.
